My journey into software engineering was anything but traditional. After studying music in college and spending 16 years in the mortgage industry, I realized I wanted to take on a more analytical, problem-solving role. A friend suggested I explore software development, and after some thought, it felt like the perfect fit. I decided to make a career shift, enrolling in the Turing School of Software & Design, followed by a Fast Track program to further develop my skills.

Since then, I’ve specialized in full-stack development, gaining hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, Java, JavaScript, and more. From contributing to open-source projects to working on a MERN stack app at a startup, I’ve grown as a developer through real-world problem-solving. Outside of coding, I sing with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, follow college sports, and love cooking and traveling with my wife. My experiences have shaped me into a creative, well-rounded developer ready for new challenges.
